Old Nurses Home The brief was to collect a primary set of data which Manx Development Corporation (MDC) could use to plan the transformation of this Westmorland site in to a residential complex. It has now been designed with 133 new homes, 4 retail units and 20,000 sq feet of office space. To be known as "Westmoreland Village", meeting the everyday needs of the residents on site. 
Techincal Aspects Site consisted of 22,000 m2, from the Old Nurses Home, right back to the Jane Crookal Maternity building and disused school. The site is mixed use, part industrial, part residental. We deployed smaller drones mitigating risks, accuracy was achieved through PPK ground control points. These points were layed and measued with RTK correction from our fixed base station. Data was delivered in the form of a topographical GeoTIFF and a 3d model which is compatible with AutoCAD Civil 3d. Main Index |
